Atlanta Fuel Dilemma
Wow, it took us twelve gas stations to find one that actually had ANY gas today. The line we waited in was out into the street from three directions (both ways at the entrance we were at and one at the one way street). Luckily we were able to get some gas though.

I'm glad that you managed to get some!

So, what's the problem in Atlanta?

I don't quite understand why Atlanta seems to be having such a problem with getting gas. Here's one article on the problem. I believe it leads to other links with more info on it. ^^;

We're also having trouble getting any gas at all in Greenville, South Carolina.

We should learn to use corn oil instead...

Wow, Gina. That's insane. We have no problems like that up here.

I'm glad to hear you were able to get some though. Maybe it has something to do with Ike's hit?

It's just people panicking. There is no gas shortage really, but people thinking there is and rushing to fill up are actually creating shortages between tanker visits.

thats what I would guess. Gas usually is delivered in the middle of the night. Also, gas is less expensive in Atlanta and today it did drop a bit so maybe most people wanted to fill up before the prices go up again?

In florida, we're fine.

I had the same problem. Was late for work that day.

All because people think the pipeline might have been damaged due to Ike, two weeks ago.

Not like Houston has trouble with gas just now.

People in Atlanta are just losing their minds for no good reason.
